A Mãe Trinidad nasceu em Dos Hermanas (Sevilha) aos 10 de fevereiro de 1929.

Os seus dezessete primeiros anos serão o viver simples e despercebido de uma mocinha boa numa família abastada e cristã.

Mas Deus, nos seus insondáveis desígnios, transformou com força aquela vida simples da jovem Trinidad. Grandes doações de Deus iriam marcando as etapas da sua existência para a missão que lhe queria dar na Igreja.

O repicar de sinos da torre da paróquia de Santa Maria Madalena, do povoado de Dos Hermanas (Sevilha, Espanha), anuncia a festa da Imaculada na sua véspera às 12 de meio-dia daquele sábado, duplamente já dedicado à Virgem. Este repicar de sinos assinala um momento importante e o princípio de uma vida diferente. Assim o descreve ela mesma:

No dia da Imaculada, na paróquia de Santa Maria Madalena, pronunciará a sua entrega diante da imagem da Virgem: «Serei tua e para sempre» marcando assim os seus primeiros e definitivos passos.

Longas horas, tudo o que lhe permite o seu trabalho na loja familiar de calçados, passá-las-á junto a Jesus na Eucaristia e detalhes preciosos farão que Jesus se constitua no seu único Mestre.

Por razões familiares, em 1955 translada-se para Madrid. À intimidade com Jesus unir-se-ão ali algumas luzes proféticas que a fazem entrever o seu futuro «à frente de uma grande Obra».

O dezoito de março e a sua transcendência

Poucos anos mais tarde, por um presente singularíssimo, Deus a introduz na sua vida íntima. No tema descrito por ela mesma, em 30 de abril de 1960, descreve assim o que lhe aconteceu:

«Deus introduziu-me […] em 18 de março de 1959, de uma maneira profundíssima e inimaginável, na sua profundeza insondável do Mistério da sua vida. […] para que contemplasse aquele Santa Santorum da adorável Trindade, velado e oculto […] e ali fui introduzida sem poder compreender como pude entrar; e muito menos como depois de ter saído, pude seguir vivendo todavia durante tantos anos […] Só para ajudar a Igreja! só para isso […] A qual a minha pobrezinha alma tremente, tinha que manifestar […] como o Eco tão só, diminuto, assustado e gaguejante, do Povo de Deus».

O papa são João Paulo II, no decreto de Aprovação Pontifícia, quis assinalar aquele dia, 18 de março de 1959, como o princípio de A Obra da Igreja, apesar de que a Mãe Trinidad não pensava então numa fundação. Mas a Obra que o Senhor queria fazer por meio dela na Igreja, estava começando, e o fazia com uma ação esplendorosa e especialíssima do Senhor na sua alma.

A Mãe Trinidad recebe emocionada a bênção do Santo Padre são João Paulo II, que quis visitá-la quando estava doente no seu próprio quarto (15 de dezembro de 1996).

Em 1976, dar-nos-á uma explicação simples das consequências deste ter sido introduzida no Seio de Deus: «O entendimento Divino infunde-se no meu entendimento pequenino e eu sei o que Deus é, o que diz e o que quer (…) Deus fala-me de entendimento a entendimento».

Assim explica-se que, sem quase saber ler nem escrever e sem ter lido nunca um livro de teologia, escreveu e publicou diversos livros e tenha mais de mil palestras registradas em áudio ou vídeo; além de inumeráveis escritos inéditos. Ver escritos >

A Obra da Igreja

No dia de Pentecostes de 1963, o Senhor pedir-lhe-á: «Faz-me a Obra da Igreja» «Com o que te dei já sabes o que tens que fazer».

O que o Senhor fez nela em 18 de março é o que ela tem que fazer na Igreja, respondendo à necessidade imposta por Deus na sua alma: «Vai e dize-o, isto é para todos!». Em 22 de março de 1963 dirá:
