How many times, since 1959, Mother Trinidad used to call her spiritual children, her dear little African children, her dear children from Asia…! And she has embraced and sheltered them under her motherly wings.

She surely must have gazed at this little nook, in the heart of Africa, one of its smallest countries, Rwanda, which has received the great gift—“because of the special attraction felt by Mother Trinidad towards the smallest and the most helpless”—of counting among its thousand hills on a house of The Work of the Church:

“Our Lady of The Holy Spirit”.

On the last 23rd of August the new Apostolate House of The Work of the Church in Rwanda was blessed in the person and by the hands of the Most Rev. Vincent Harolimana, Bishop of Ruhengheri Diocese.

The President and the General Directors of The Work of the Church attended this Ceremony, as well as the Consecrated members engaged in this mission and people from different groups in representation of the Diocese: Priests, Religious Communities, several faithful, youth and children.

It was an unforgettable day for the history of The Work of the Church in Africa. A written evidence which will become priceless as time goes by since Mother Trinidad, from Heaven, is opening the path to stay with her “dear little children of Africa”.

We are pleased to show you a short video of the ceremony in order to share with you our happiness for being witnesses of such an evident proof of the Lord’s deeds through Mother Trinidad.

In the meanwhile, we encourage you to join us in our thanksgiving to God because “His mercy endures forever and has no end”.

A new Tabernacle! A new House for God’s Glory! A new presence for “the Little One of Jesus” which makes her Echo resound in the land of Africa!
